Applying tie line fluctuation corrections using TerraMatch, either on loaded points, project points, or by using the Apply Corrections macro step runs very slow.
Apply correction takes a long time if the points are not sorted by time stamp. The Apply correction process computes the scanner position for small intervals of consecutive time stamps but this only works if points are sorted by time. Otherwise, time stamps jump from one point to another and the process has to compute the scanner position for almost all points, which is quite computationally expensive. Sort your file(s) by timestamp and then Apply corrections should occur at a normally expected pace.
