Photoscan – Not Recognizing Nvidia Graphics Card

If Photoscan is not recognizing your Nvidia graphics card, you may need to update your graphics card driver. Here is the procedure to follow:

  • Update Geforce Experience
  • Download latest driver using Geforce Experience
  • Install driver with Geforce Experience
  • Restart computer
  • Once the computer has rebooted, check Photoscan and verify that the graphics card appeared in the “OpenCL devices” window (located in Photoscan Preferences)
  • Make sure that the box next to the graphics card’s description is checked
