Add LAS Files Basic and Advanced Columns
The file list on the Add LAS Files dialog box displays
all files that you have selected for creating a LIDAR Layer. The header
information from each LAS file is contained in the grid of the file list.
The column headings list what data is displayed for the files. The Basic
columns are displayed by default and always remain in the file list. The
Basic columns are:
- Validity
- File (filename)
- Size (MB)
- Map Layer that the file will be assigned to
- Message to alert you of any warnings or invalid files
- Version (LAS version)
- PDRF (Point Data Record Format)
- Points (Number of Point Records)
Above the file list on the right-hand side of the Add LAS Files
dialog box is the Advanced Columns button
. This button allows you to display much more
information about the LAS files that is not displayed by default. The
columns that will display when you click Advanced Columns are:
- Folder where the file is located
- Date
- Coordinate System
- QVR File
- LAZ Enabled
- GPS Time
- Compatibility Group
- File Signature
- File Source ID
- Waveform Data Internal
- Waveform Data External
- Synthetic Return Numbers
- CRS is WKT
- Project ID (GUID)
- System Identifier
- Generating Software
- File Creation Day of the Year
- File Creation Year
- File Creation Date
- Header Size
- Offset to Point Data
- Number of VLRs
- Number of EVLRs
- Point Data Record Length
- Number of Points for Return (Points/Return)
- X Scale Factor
- Y Scale Factor
- Z Scale Factor
- X Offset
- Y Offset
- Z Offset
- Min X
- Min Y
- Min Z
- Max X
- Max Y
- Max Z
- Waveform Data Offset
- Variable Length Records
- Extended Variable Length Records
