About the Minimum Object Area
The Minimum Object Area parameter allows you to filter small objects from the extracted output. Traced outlines with areas smaller than the minimum object area are not included in the extracted file. If using the
squaring option, the area is based on the area of the squared outlines of the objects.
Also as an option, you may reclassify the points within these outlines with areas less than the minimum object area parameter to a specified classification. If using the squaring option the un-squared outlines are used to perform the reclassification.
