About Removing Values and Categories

When categories are no longer needed, they can be removed from the legend. All categories can be removed as well as reset, returning the dialog to its original state. The default category cannot be removed from the legend.

How to Remove Values or Categories

"Remove Value(s)" Button

1. Open the Properties dialog.

2. Select the 'Symbology' tab and the 'Return Combination' tab within it.

3. Click on a category or set of values.

4. Click the "Remove Value(s)" button to remove the selected category.

"Remove All Values" Button

1. Open the Properties dialog.

2. Select the 'Symbology' tab and the 'Return Combination' tab within it.

3. Click the "Remove All Values" button.
