A short tutorial showing the processing steps for a DJI L1 LIDAR point cloud after first having used DJI Terra to produce the LIDAR point cloud (LAS file) and trajectory solution (SBET.out). The data set was collected by Terrasolid in Luosto, a small ski resort in northern Finland. The demo covers :
- Import of point cloud and trajectories using the New Drone Project wizard in TerraScan
- Processing the point cloud using the Process Drone Data wizard:
- Splitting trajectories
- Cutting overlap
- Smoothing point cloud
- Classification of ground and above ground features
- Checking xyz positioning using signal markers
