By default, the new output data set created after the conflation process, will contain an ID field, plus any fields containing conflated elevation values. Copying attributes from the input to output data set is useful for preserving type values or other attributes that may be of use after conflating elevations.
To copy the attributes to the output data set within the Elevation Conflation dialog, click the "Copy Attributes from Input Layer to Output File" checkbox until a check appears in the box. If the box is unchecked, all features within the selected layer or data set will be used in the conflation.
