About Modifying the Symbols
The color and size of the symbol associated with a
category
or group of values can be modified to appropriately fit the meaning
of the category. For example, a canopy category may be displayed with
a green color to represent vegetation. In addition to the symbols
assigned to each category, the default symbol can be modified as well.
How to Modify the Symbols
Double Click on the Symbol
1. Open the Properties dialog.
2. Select the 'Symbology' tab and the 'Classification' tab within
it.
3. Within the Symbol column, double click on the symbol for the
category you wish to modify. The
Symbol Property Page will display.
