About the Statistics Extractor Output File

The Statistics Extractor point cloud task allows you to define the set of points that will be used to gather summary information. The output file that you specify on the Statistics Extractor property page is the shape file that will contain the extracted data.

How to Specify the Statistics Extractor Output File

  1. Set up a Statistics Extractor Point Cloud Task.

  2. To define the output file, click the browse button next to the Output File field. The I/O Manager dialog will display.

  3. In the File/Folder column of the I/O Manager, define the filename and location for the output shape file.

  4. Click OK.
