About Basing Colors on Values from the Project
Calculating colors based on values from the
project
uses the minimum and maximum elevations within the
LAS
files referenced by a
LIDAR
Layer. The project minimum and maximum values can produce unexpected
results because the color values are distributed for a large range
of elevations of which some could be
outliers
on the high and low side of the range. Better results can be obtained
by using the "Standard Deviation" method, however it is
recommended that the "Current View" option be used for more
applicable results.
