About Extracting By LAS Files

Although LP360 is designed to access points as a seamless database, the summaries can be exported over the specified search geometry for each overlapping file. When using this option each file results in an exported record or row in the summary. The data for each record only pertains to those points within that file. When exporting by file, you can select from a variety of file attributes or header information that gets saved with each record.

How to Extract By LAS Files

Extract By Files Checkbox

1. On the Point Cloud Statistics Extractor property page, click the Extract by Files checkbox to toggle whether the summaries are generated by file.
2. Click the 'Apply' button to commit the changes.

Tip Use the Header Attributes tab to select header attributes to extract.
