Symptom:
While attempting to install the GeoCue Service pack you receive an error message stating, “Destination Path Too Long”, while extracting the service pack into the GeoCue Common folder.
Probable Resolution:
There is a 255-character limit imposed by Microsoft when doing the extraction from the ZIP file used to deliver the GeoCue Service Pack. You will need to ensure that both the source and destinations folders being used are short enough to accommodate the long filenames. You can always assign a sort share name to the GeoCue Common folder and ensure you use that rather than the full path to the common folder when extracting the contents of the Service Pack ZIP file.
Note: DO NOT skip the extraction of the file or you will encounter further errors while installing the service pack.
