Below are approximate Loki battery life times at different tested temperatures:
- 20 C / 68 F: 2h 30m until the battery LED transitions to RED; 30m or less remaining.
- 4 C / 40 F: 1h 55m to RED; 22m or less remaining.
- -16 C / 3 F: 1h to RED; 12m or less remaining.
To maximize battery life and avoid data loss, flights should not be started if the battery LED is red. As shown above, at very cold temperatures, it is better to keep track of the time Loki has been turned on, as opposed to depending solely on the battery LED. The Loki is charged using a USB type C cable included with every Loki that is shipped.
