After moving your licenses to a new GeoCue Server location you might receive the following error message upon the opening of User Manager:
“Unable to contact the specified repository server (Server name and IP address). A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond IP address.”
This error message may indicate that the software is still pointed to the old server location. The solution to this error is to point the software to the correct server by modifying the registry.
Navigate to the following location in the Registry Editor:
Right-Click on the ‘ServerName’ key and select ‘Modify’.
Replace Value Data with new server name.
