Problem:

While trying to copy the raw data from the TV540, you may encounter an error while importing the data using the TV540 Data Copy Tool:

No images available in the TV540 Data Copy Tool, however the images are available inside the sensor ALPHA_CAM hard drive memory.

The error is related to the images not having EXIF information. Therefore, the TV540 Data Copy Tool can not extract these images.

The reason the images do not have EXIF information is because of an early shutdown of the sensor, and not letting the sensor finish the wind down.

The recommendation to avoid this issue is to let the TV540 wind down properly after landing, either wait to hear the “beep” or wait 3 minutes before shutting down.

Probable Resolution #1:

There is no fix today to the missing EXIF information, the recommended workflow is to process the LiDAR without images. Or to repeat the flight if the images are needed.
