The following steps describe the process for updating the firmware of the TVGO116 and TVGO132. The TrueView Go can be updated automatically using the TVGO App or manually.
1. Update using the TVGO App
1- Make sure to have the TVGOApp version 1.0.0.2 or newer.
—-To know the version of the App –> Go to “Settings” –> About –> Check the version

2- Make sure you have internet in the table in a different way than Wi-Fi. The best way is to use a sim card with internet.
3- Open the TVGOApp
4- Switch on the TVGO sensor
5- In the TVGO App –> Connect device
6- The firmware section will show the actual firmware of the TVGO sensor
7- If you have internet connexion and there is a new firmware update, it will appear a notification in the Firmware info –> Click on the notification –> Update firmware
2. Manual update
It is also possible to manually install a new firmware, in case the user does not have internet in the tablet or the TVGO App does not detect the latest firmware.
1- Contact geocue support to get the latest firmware version –> Latest version: 1.6.6 in April 2025
2- Download the firmware package to your computer –> Unzip the file
3- Connect the TVGO device to your computer using the USB-C cable, make sure the device is off.
4- Copy the new firmware in the sensor internal memory. The “.bin” file.
5- Unplug the TVGO from the computer
6- Switch on the TVGO –> wait 60 for the sensor to update –> You’ll see it flashing a fast red/green which means it’s updating
7- Open the TVGOApp –> Connect device –> Check the firmware version
