Attempting to run POSPacCloud to process a sensor trajectory solution in LP360 Drone results in an authentication failed error, “An error occurred running POSPacCloud.exe: C:\Program Files\Applanix\POSPac Cloud\POSPacCloud.exe AUTHENTICATION_FAILED The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
Probable Resolution #1:
When installing LP360 an incorrect version of POSPacCloud was installed separately that was incompatible with the latest version of the POSPac Cloud giving the error message.
There should not be a reason for a user to install POSPacCloud separately as it is installed with LP360 v2022.1.40.0 or later.
Uninstalling both LP360 and POSPacCloud and then installing the latest version of LP360 from your company’s Reckon account, or from the LP360 Store, or from the LP360 Installers Page on our searchable support knowledge base, should resolve the issue.
If a “DLL failed to register” error is encountered during installation. Update & install your x64 Microsoft VS C++ Redistributables, then attempt to install the software again.
